About us

My name is Liz and I'm the owner and creator of Liz Q Studio.

I'm the wife of a wonderful man and mother of two beautiful kids.

I've always been a DIYer and crafty woman.  You name it, I've probably done it.  It all started when I was a kid making friendship bracelets, and went from there.  I love it all!  Crochet, cross stitch, painting, watercolor, drawing, scrapbooking, making jewelry, quilting, sewing, knitting, spinning yarn from wool, embroidery, building furniture, digital scrapbook design, paper crafts, art journaling....and the list goes on.  I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

I love to create, and making pretty and functional planner things is just another obsession of mine.  I'm a long long time list maker.  Hubby pokes fun at me because I'm always making a list of something.  He says I probably have a list of all my lists (I don't, but it does't sound like a bad idea...lol)  I have composition books full of lists and plans and project notes.  When I found the planner community, back in 2015, I knew I'd found my people.  Back in my early days of planning, I made my own inserts in photoshop, and used different color pens and highlighters.  I used little avery labels with stamps from scrapbooking to jazz it all up.  When I learned that I could make my own stickers with my silhouette, it changed my whole planning world.  I Immediately set myself to making ALL THE STICKERS!

I opened a little shop on Etsy selling stickers and eventually added other items.  After some pretty serious health stuff, I found myself not having the time or energy to keep up with my day job and my shop.  The shop had to go.  I was sad that I wouldn't have my little shop anymore, but I needed to focus on getting better and maintaining my main source of income.

Now that things have leveled off and I'm doing much better, I'm able to start the shop back up.  My thoughts are that I'll keep it to printable inserts, dashboards and sticky notes.  But who knows?  We'll see where the road takes us.

Thank you so much for coming to my little corner of the planning world.  I'm thrilled to have you here!

xoxo,

Liz
